Welcome to the new and improved Ultiworld.com! We hope you find the new design more engaging — here’s what’s new.
As you can see, the front page has a whole new look. We’ve eliminated the feature boxes, instead choosing to highlight one major story, along with some other featured content.
We also have a weekly newsletter now. It’s free! Sign up to get the best of Ultiworld delivered to your inbox every Tuesday, and tell us a little bit about your interests to get a more personalized version. No spam, ever.
Perhaps the biggest change is the addition of our editors’ blog on the left-hand side, adjacent to the main content area. It’s a space for insight, ideas, and context from the top Ultiworld editors as a supplement to the stories we publish. We have a longer explanation of its purpose over at the blog itself. Let us know what you think.
Finally, we have also implemented a much improved comment system. We encourage you to use or create a Disqus login, which will allow you to comment seamlessly across the site, keeping a record of what you post. You can also subscribe to individual comment threads by clicking the drop-down arrow to the right of the stars rating box. Comments can be voted up and down, and you can sort the thread in a variety of ways.
