Now that Team USA has delivered a third straight Gold at the World Games, you will be able to see way behind-the-scenes in an upcoming documentary, Bidding For Gold.
Ultiworld’s very own videographer Adam Shapiro has been pouring time, energy, and a lot of money into following Team USA around the United States and down to Cali, Colombia, documenting their path to Gold. He has already released a teaser trailer with footage taken before traveling to Colombia.
After spending nearly everything he had to get to Cali, he is now raising funds on Kickstarter to return to the United States and get started on the post-production efforts.
As with any Kickstarter project, there are some great rewards for donating money to the project. For just $20, you can get an HD digital download of the finished product. Some unique opportunities include getting Nicky Spiva to write you a love advice column, having Beau Kittredge send you a signed copy of one of his children’s books along with a personalized video of him reading the book to you in front of a fireplace, talking for 45 minutes with coach Matt Tsang, or receiving signed discs or jerseys.
Shapiro writes:

The film will set up the sport and tell its history so that any passerby may understand both its simplicities and its nuances.
