Major League Ultimate just announced the signing of Morgan Hibbert, the Furious George star, to the Vancouver Nighthawks. The news is big — the MLU has had little to report out of Vancouver. But the best part of the story is what Hibbert said in the press release.
Furious George has had a long and heated rivalry with Seattle Sockeye. It looks like Hibbert is bringing that with him to the MLU.
“I am already buzzing about the opportunity to go into Seattle on opening night and to lay a beat down on them in front of their hometown fans,” said Hibbert. “There is something so satisfying about crushing their dreams right from the very beginning by ruining their big night. I can’t wait!”
