The World Flying Disc Federation has formed a partnership with Ultimate Central, an event organizing and payment platform, to allow WFDF to run major international events through a consistent web portal.
WFDF had been looking for a better way to handle tournament registration and payment processing, particularly after an ineffective and frustrating 2014 World Ultimate Club Championships experience.
“Ultimate Central’s integrated CMS, registration, and tournament management platform will allow us to provide organizers with one single solution to run sanctioned events, saving them time troubleshooting custom systems and making sure event websites remain available for years to come.” said Brian Gisel, chair of WFDF’s championships subcommittee, in a statement.
The 2015 U23 World Championships, being held this summer in London, will be the first tournament to use the UC platform.
